At the January 15, 2026 Board of Supervisor's meeting Resolution 2026-11 was adopted - Naming the Berks County Treasurer's Office as the Tax Collector for Union Township
Notice to Residents
Burn ban will go into effect for Union Township March 12, 2026, prohibiting all open burning, including yard waste, brush, and recreational fire pits. This ban is active until further notice, all outdoor burning is prohibited, with no exceptions.​
